Mr. Haddow is a veteran of the Washington political scene for over three decades, serving as a legislative director in the U.S. Senate, handling issues on foreign policy and national security. As a key congressional staffer, Haddow was actively involved in foreign policy, participating in international conferences throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. He was a key to several conferences sponsored by the Konrad-Adnauer Stiftung and Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Haddow served for ten years as the Director of Congressional Affairs for Morton Thiokol, Inc., a multinational corporation with divisions involved in chemical, salt, home products and aerospace. Within the aerospace division the company produced, among others, the solid rocket motors for the space shuttle, the MX Missile, D5 Trident missile, Minuteman missile and several tactical weapons, including the Maverick, AIM-9 Sidewinder, Harm and SRAM. Haddow returned to Capitol Hill to serve as the Director of Health Policy on the Senate Labor and Human Resources Committee. There he directed the efforts of the Committee in various initiatives on healthcare and pharmaceutical issues.
