Fred Jubitz is a second generation owner of Jubitz Corporation, which was founded by his father, Monroe, in 1952. The company is engaged in the operations of Jubitz Travel Center, Jubitz Fleet Services, The Portlander Inn and Marketplace and various real estate investments. Mr. Jubitz attended Lewis & Clark College, Portland State University, and graduated from the University of Oregon. Mr. Jubitz is a member of the National Association of Truck Stop Operators, the Oregon Restaurant and Lodging Association, The Oregon Trucking Association, The Oregon Petroleum Association, and America’s Best Truck Stops (Ambest, Inc.). He is a past president of The North Portland Rotary Club, a former trustee of Jesuit High School, and a current Founder’s Circle Member of SOLV. He also serves as a board member for the Portland Art Museum, the Classic Wine Auction, and the Oregon Restaurant and Lodging Association. Mr. Jubitz and his wife, Gail, live in Portland. They have three sons, Matthew (a Lewis & Clark alumni, living in Los Angeles), David, and Neil.
