Daniel S Lewis

Daniel Seth Lewis serves as the Founding Partner, Chief Investment Officer, Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager at Orange Capital, LLC. Mr. Lewis co-founded Orange Capital in 2005. From 1996 to 2004, he was employed at Citigroup and its predecessor companies. Mr. Lewis served as a Director at Citigroup Inc.'s Global Special Situations Group, where he spent nine years. He has extensive investment experience in shareholder activist campaigns, event-driven equities, and distressed debt investments worldwide. He serves on the Board of Say Yes to Education. Mr. Lewis served as an Independent Trustee of InnVest Real Estate Investment Trust since March 13, 2014 until August 3, 2016 and served as its Lead Independent Trustee since 2014 until August 3, 2016. He served as Director of Bellatrix Exploration Ltd. from January 01, 2015 to February 10, 2016. He served as a Director of Citi Global Special Situations Group. He has a B.S. in Labor Relations and Industrial Relations from Cornell University in 1996.
