Dale Snape

With more than 30 years of Washington experience, Dale Snape offers Wexler & Walker clients an insider’s knowledge of the federal funding process, an analyst’s interest in policy issues and a seasoned political activist’s insights to congressional leadership and Democratic politics. He serves as a strategic counselor to major US corporations, trade associations, Indian tribes and non-profit organizations. Mr. Snape’s expertise helps guide client successes within the United States’ most highly regulated industries. His work includes support for the passage of major trade legislation, financial services reform, Medicare and other health policy reforms, telecommunications policy changes, energy security and appropriations legislation. His work in support of Native Americans has led to the settlement of tribal land and water agreements with the United States and the creation of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian. A skilled funding advocate, Mr. Snape assists Wexler & Walker clients with appropriations in the areas of national defense, homeland security and natural resources. While at The White House Office of Management and Budget, Mr. Snape was awarded the prestigious Professional Achievement Award. Prior to coming to Washington, he served as Assistant Dean of Student Affairs at Stanford University. Mr. Snape remains active in New Democrat activities to sustain moderate, pro-growth Democrats. He is also an active volunteer advisor to Democratic Senate and House candidates. Mr. Snape earned both his undergraduate degree and MBA from Stanford University where he received the university's highest service award.
