age 66, has been a director of the Company since 2002 and a director of Anthem Insurance from 2002 to May 2003. Dr. Baker had served on the former Trigon Healthcare, Inc. board of directors from 1985 until its merger with us in July 2002. He is a cardiac and thoracic surgeon, and has been President of Mid-Atlantic Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Ltd. since 1979. Dr. Baker is a trustee of Johns Hopkins University and a member of the board of trustees of Johns Hopkins Medicine (which includes Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System).
