Claude Fontheim is the CEO of Fontheim International, LLC. He is also Chairman of GlobalWorks Foundation, which is dedicated to fighting global poverty. Mr. Fontheim serves on the State Department’s Advisory Committee on International Economic Policy, and the U.S. Trade Representative’s Trade Advisory Committee on Africa. He has also served on the President’s Advisory Committee on Trade Policy and Negotiations. Mr. Fontheim is the Chairman of the Democratic Leadership Council project on The Global Economy and Trade. He is a Trustee of the Progressive Policy Institute, and is on the Board of Directors of the Alliance to End Hunger, Securing America’s Future Energy and the New Democrat Network. He is also on the Advisory Boards of the Blue Fund, a socially responsible investment company, and Hudson Abel Partners, a merchant bank. Mr. Fontheim has served as an advisor on trade, economic and foreign policy to national and congressional political campaigns. Mr. Fontheim received his J.D., M.P.P., and B.A. from the University of Michigan. He was Managing Editor of Michigan’s international law publication.
