Richard J Statuto

Richard J. Statuto has served as the chair of the board of directors of Premier, Inc. since September 2013 and as a member of the board of directors of Premier, Inc. since its inception in May 2013. He has been a member of the board of directors of PHSI and a member of the board of managers of Premier Plans since 2011. Since 2005, Statuto has served as the president and CEO of Bon Secours Health System, which has more than 30 facilities in seven states in the eastern United States and is one of Premier’s member owners. Statuto currently serves as a member of the boards of directors of Covenant Health Systems Inc., Mercy Housing Inc. and Catholic CEO Healthcare Connection. Statuto previously served as a member of the board of directors of Kmart Corporation, as chairman of the board of directors of the American Red Cross, as chairman of the board of directors of Catholic Health Association and as vice chairman of the board of directors of Christus Health System. Statuto received his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and his Master of Business Administration degree from Xavier University.
