Since 2003, Lindsay Lawrence has brought a comprehensive understanding of the federal appropriations process to DCI Group and is a registered federal lobbyist who advises university, hospital, municipal, and other non-profit clients on strategies to secure federal funding. Prior to joining DCI Group, Ms. Lawrence served as an Account Executive at Cerrell Associates in Los Angeles, the largest privately held public affairs firms in California. In that capacity, she provided public policy and political counsel to clients with interests before local governmental bodies and regulatory agencies including City Council and Los Angeles Unified School District. Previously, Ms. Lawrence worked at one of the largest lobbying firms in Washington, Cassidy & Associates, on a broad range of client issues including agriculture, transportation, education, trade and healthcare with a particular focus on appropriations. She specifically worked on Farm Bill reauthorization, Highway Bill reauthorization, and the Clean Diamonds Trade Act. Additionally, Ms. Lawrence also worked in the office of John E. Baldacci (D-ME) as well as on his 2002 re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives. Ms. Lawrence graduated with high honors from the University of Maine at Orono with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Political Science and English and is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor degree at the Catholic University Columbus School of Law. Her current professional affiliations include the National Women’s Democratic Club, the Democratic Club, and Women in Government Relations.
