Adrianna Ma is the managing partner of Haleakala Holdings LLC, her personal investment firm. Previously, Ms. Ma was a managing partner of Fremont Group, a single-family investment firm, where she spent four years overseeing a portfolio consisting of actively managed funds as well as directly owned public and private securities. Before joining Fremont Group, Ms. Ma was a managing director of General Atlantic, where she spent 10 years investing in and serving on the boards of technology-enabled growth companies globally. Before joining General Atlantic, she was an investment banker for five years in Morgan Stanley's mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring department. She also previously was a project manager in the network server division of Hewlett-Packard Company. Ms. Ma is a director of Applied Materials, Inc. (NYSE: AMAT). She also is involved with a number of educational and not-for-profit organizations and serves on the board of the MIT Investment Management Company, on the Henry Crown Board of Overseers of the Aspen Institute, and on visiting committees of the MIT Corporation. She is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Ms. Ma earned her bachelor’s degree in electrical science and engineering and her master’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT and her MBA from Harvard Business School. She is a 2012 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. Adrianna is involved with a number of other educational and not-for-profit organizations. She serves on Visiting Committees of the MIT Corporation, Advisory Council of the MIT Media Lab and the MIT Educational Council. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of The Nature Conservancy in New York.
