William P. (Scott) Bush joined J.P. Morgan Private Wealth Management in late 2011 as a managing director in St. Louis, with responsibility for business development.
Scott was previously managing director and co-founder of WhiteHawk Capital, a renewable energy, energy security and energy infrastructure private equity firm. Prior to WhiteHawk, Scott held senior executive management positions at Maritz, most recently as CEO and president of Maritz Performance Improvement Company and as CMO and head of global sales at Maritz Inc. Previous to Maritz, Scott served as corporate vice president for Trans World Airlines (TWA). He also filled venture capital, private equity and investment banking roles earlier in his career at Bush O'Donnell, H&Q, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation and J.P. Morgan.
From 1988-1989, he served as Director of Special Placement in the Office of President Personnel at the White House. Scott is acting President of GiveBack10, a wounded warrior organization, and previously served as a Board Member for American Express Incentive Services and on numerous non-profit boards including Herbert Hoover Boy's and Girls Club, St. Louis Children's Hospital and The YMCA.
Scott holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in American Studies from Yale University. He is a 2005 Henry Crown Fellow of The Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.more » « less
