Dawn Levy brings a wealth of high-level experience in tax, transportation, energy, and finance to Cassidy & Associates. Our clients require expert counsel on these issues from professionals who know the ins and outs of politics and legislation. Dawn Levy offers to Cassidy & Associates clients a level of service that comes only from serving on the staff of the Senate Finance Committee. Ms. Levy joined Cassidy & Associates after serving as Tax Counsel to Senator Max Baucus (D-MT), the current Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee. Her specialty is tax code financing. She advised Senator Baucus on transportation and energy finance and tax matters including tax credits and incentives, tax reform, bonding, fuel issues, innovative infrastructure financing and public/private partnerships. In this role, she led Finance staff efforts on issues such as funding for the transportation reauthorization bill, ethanol incentive provisions/fuel tax issues in the Senate and in conference with House Ways and Means Committee, and the Grassley/Baucus Infrastructure Bonding proposal. She also authored sections of the TEA 21 Reauthorization, and coordinated staff and lobbying efforts to secure protection of the Highway Trust Fund.
