Kurt J Hilzinger

Hilzinger was named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of AmerisourceBergen upon the merger of AmeriSource Health Corporation and Bergen Brunswig Corporation in August 2001. Previously, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of AmeriSource, which he joined in 1991. He held a number of other key roles with AmeriSource, including Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining AmeriSource, Hilzinger held several positions at Citigroup. Earlier in his career, he was an associate with the accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Hilzinger is a member of the Board of Directors of the Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA) and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a 1983 graduate of the University of Michigan.
