Abramson has been in his current position since Metalmark's founding in 2004. Leigh Abramson is a former Managing Director of Morgan Stanley Capital Partners. He joined Morgan Stanley in 1990 and Morgan Stanley Capital Partners in 1992. Mr. Abramson is a director of Aqua Capital Management, Camin Cargo Control, Collagen Matrix, Premier Research, Renewable Biofuels, Silgan, and Valagro. Mr. Abramson has also served as a director of Aventine Renewable Energy, CP Power, Hoffmaster, Ni America, Silgan Holdings, Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation, SynQor, Tegrant and several other companies. Mr. Abramson received a B.A. in History, cum laude, from Amherst College.
