Steve Campbell is presently Managing Director and Head of the North America Family Office Group for Citi Private Bank. He was previously Chief Investment Officer for a Seattle-based family office where he managed a large, diverse portfolio of equity, fixed income and alternative investments, leading both direct investments and third party manager selection. In addition, he was Managing Director of a nationally-focused venture fund and led over 20 investments in such companies as, 37signals, Twitter, MFG.com, Sapphire Energy, and Heartland Robotics . Steve was CEO of two successful early stage financial software companies, Devonshire Technology (which he founded and sold to Fidelity Investments in 1998), and Capital Stream (acquired by HCL Technologies) . Steve spent his early career (1989 tO 1998) in Senior Executive roles managing both technology development and investment research activities for Fidelity Investments in the U.S. and Europe / Asia . He was V.P. of equity and fixed income trading technology, V.P of mutual fund systems, V.P. of investment research (for the $800B asset management company FMRCo) and headed-up all technology development for Fidelity International ($10B in AUM) with staff in Europe, Asia and Bermuda. In addition, Steve led various M&A efforts reporting the Chairman of Fidelity Investments. Steve began his career with Interactive Data Corporation, a (then) division of the Chase Manhattan Bank, in corporate finance. Steve is a Graduate of Merrimack College and completed the 1998 Stanford Executive Program and the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
