Bruce Morrison

A Representative from Connecticut; born in New York City, October 8, 1944; attended public schools, Northport, N.Y.; graduated, Northport High School, 1962; S.B., Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Mass., 1965; M.S., University of Illinois, Urbana, 1970; J.D., Yale Law School, 1973; admitted to the Connecticut bar, 1973 and commenced practice in New Haven; admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, 1976, to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, 1979, and to the New York bar, 1981; elected as a Democrat to the Ninety-eighth and to the three succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1983-January 3, 1991); was not a candidate for reelection in 1990 to the One Hundred Second Congress but was an unsuccessful nominee for governor of Connecticut; is a resident of Hamden, Conn.
