Steve Woolwine has over 27 years of experience in intelligence analysis and strategic planning across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. Prior to joining Berico, Steve served in high profile leadership roles such as Regional Analysis Office Chief at DIA with responsibility for managing 225 military, civilian and contractor personnel conducting collection, analysis, and crisis response across 143 countries. His customers included the President, Secretary of Defense, Congress, Joint Staff and foreign partners. Steve has led critical “Five-Eyes” analysis projects, and served as the Executive Assistant to the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) working across the 16 ODNI Intelligence Community agencies. Steve made significant contributions to planning of the coalition invasion of Iraq, as well as the development of the CENTCOM “common intelligence picture” supporting the initial invasion. Steve serves as Berico’s Vice President for Analytics and Operations where he is responsible for the development and management of Berico’s all-source analysis, intelligence training, and cybersecurity services. Additionally, Steve plays a key role in connecting critical analytic requirements with technological advances to deliver innovative analytic solutions. A graduate of the National Security Fellows Program at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Post Graduate Intelligence Program, Steve also holds degrees from the School of Advanced Military Studies at the Army Command and General Staff College and the Virginia Military Institute.
