Jim Murphy is DDC Advocacy’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In these roles, Jim oversees the company’s operational and financial business. Jim brings more than 20 years of executive-management experience in operations, finance, board leadership, and mergers and acquisitions with both technology and health care organizations. Prior to joining DDC Advocacy, Jim served as the Executive Vice President and CFO at Cybertrust, Inc., where he was instrumental in the successful sale of the company to Verizon Business in 2007. While at Cybertrust, Jim was a member of the Board of Directors of a Belgium-based subsidiary that was publicly traded on the Euronext Exchange. Earlier in his career, Jim was the Executive Vice President and CFO of Summerville Healthcare Group, Inc., and a Senior Vice President and CFO of Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Group, Inc., a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ. Jim has also held various senior accounting and financial positions with KB Homes and Arthur Andersen, LLP. Jim graduated from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley with an M.B.A. He also holds a B.S. in Accounting and Information Systems from California State University, Hayward.
