John P McEwan

John is the Managing Partner of Deloitte’s Columbus Practice, the largest accounting and consulting firm in Central Ohio. He oversees the delivery of Deloitte’s services to area clients, including large multinational companies, private and family-owned businesses, government and educational institutions and emerging/fast growth concerns. He is also responsible for the administration of the Columbus practice, including strategy, operations, talent and business development. John has more than 28 years of experience in public accounting, including advisory services on prominent mergers and leveraged buyouts, consulting engagements, multi-national and SEC matters. He has also served local companies Scotts Miracle-Gro, Nationwide Mutual Insurance, The Ohio State University, Lancaster Colony, KKR, M/I Homes, NiSource, Big Lots Inc., DSW, Borden Inc. and others. A Columbus native and graduate of Ohio State University, John serves as Finance Chair on the board of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, where he is helping the Chamber improve its ability to attract outside investments. He is also a member of the Ohio Business Roundtable, and he hosts a quarterly CFO Forum for the area’s leading Chief Financial Officers.
