Mr. Pybus was selected as a member of the Senior Executive Service in December 1995. He currently serves as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition Policy and Logistics in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology). In this position he exercises leadership and oversight for acquisition, industrial base and acquisition logistics policy formulation and implementation for Army weapon systems development, production, fielding and sustainment. Mr. Pybus previously served as Director of Aviation, Munitions, and War Reserves, from 1997 to 2003, and as Deputy Director of Supply and Maintenance and Chief of the Aviation Logistics Office from 1995 to 1997, in the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, G-4, Headquarters Department of the Army. In both positions he exercised broad Army staff policy oversight for logistical support of Army weapon systems, conventional munitions, and war reserves.
