Tanaaz Jason

Tanaaz Jasani assists the firm's marketing and communication efforts. Prior to Sonen Capital, Tanaaz served as the Impact Investment Fellow at the Aga Khan Foundation U.S.A. Her role included assisting in investments, due diligence, legal and tax compliance, and social metrics. Previously, Tanaaz was a Policy Analyst at the San Diego County Taxpayers Association, where she analyzed public policies. Recently, Tanaaz obtained her B.A. in International Studies with an emphasis in political science and economics from the University of California, San Diego. She was appointed as the Representative for the Chancellor's Advisory Committee for the Status of Women, a board that reviewed administrative policies affecting women on campus. She served as a Student Advisor to University's Business and Financial Services Office. Tanaaz has been published in the Journal of Undergraduate International Studies and the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Prospect: Journal of International Affairs. In addition, Tanaaz is a Frontier Market Scouts Fellow, through which she serves local entrepreneurs and social-minded investors. She's an active member of the Young Professionals Foreign Policy.
