Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President -- Corporate Services, The Home Depot, Inc. Carol has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Home Depot, Inc., the world' s largest home improvement specialty retailer and the second largest retailer in the United States, since May 2001. In January 2007 Carol assumed the additional role of Executive Vice President -- Corporate Services. Prior to that, she had been Senior Vice President -- Finance and Accounting/Treasurer since February 2000. From 1995 until 2000, she served as Vice President and Treasurer. A native of Jackson, Wyoming, Carol holds a B.S. in Communication from the University of Wyoming and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Denver. She is an active volunteer, including serving as the chair of the Advisory Board for the Metropolitan Atlanta Arts Fund, The Committee of 200 and a member of the High Museum. In 2008, Carol joined the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.
