Ken is a Member of Foster Pepper's Environmental and Real Estate practice groups, and provides counseling and litigation support on environmental issues in real estate transactions and property redevelopment. Ken has facilitated the remediation of dozens of contaminated properties. He helps developers, businesses, and landowners with due diligence reviews and site investigation/remediation, as well as transactional indemnities and contract negotiations. An experienced first-chair trial attorney, Ken has a strong background in federal and state hazardous waste cost-recovery litigation and natural resource damage litigation. Ken also provides guidance to private clients and individuals on permit compliance and risk management, and he frequently defends environmental and construction professionals on commercial tort and environmental liability claims.
