Stephen Colecchi has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Robinson Memorial Hospital since September 1, 1994. Colecchi is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Colecchi was engaged in the private practice of law from 1979 to 1985. Colecchi previously served as Prosecutor and Assistant Law Director for the City of Kent (1980-1985) and Assistant Prosecutor for Portage County (1989-1994). Colecchi is admitted to practice before the Ohio Supreme Court and the United States Supreme Court. Robinson Memorial Hospital is a community hospital with 117 staffed beds located in Ravenna, Ohio. Robinson Memorial Hospital and its related organization, Robinson Health Affiliates, Inc, with 1500 total employees, provides a full range of health care services at the hospital's main campus and numerous outpatient facilities located throughout Portage County. Robinson Memorial Hospital has been designated as a Magnet hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2006 and has been named for eleven consecutive years as one of the best places to work in Northeast Ohio by the Employers Resource Council. Robinson Memorial Hospital is an affiliate member of the Summa Health System based in Akron, Ohio. Colecchi currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Akron Regional Hospital Association and as Immediate Past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Area Agency on Aging; Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Portage Development Board; and a member of the Board of Directors of Team NEO and the New Health Collaborative. Colecchi has served as a member of the Ravenna City Planning Commission, Ravenna City School District Blue Ribbon Commission and was a member of the Ravenna City School District Board of Education in 2001. He was recognized for his community involvement by being named as Grand Marshall of the 2000 Ravenna Balloon-A-Fair Parade. Colecchi and his wife, Andrea, a registered nurse, reside in Kent.
