Vice President, Public Sector and Infrastructure Banking Goldman Sachs Ms. Sonnenberg joined the Public Sector and Infrastructure Banking Group at Goldman Sachs in 2003, where she currently focuses on stadium and arena finance as well as northeast infrastructure. Ms. Sonnenberg covers public sector and sport clients with a focus on large scale project finance. Ms. Sonnenberg’s clients include the City of New York, State of New Jersey, New York Yankees, New York Giants, Brooklyn Nets, Minnesota Twins, and San Francisco 49ers. Projects financed include MetLife Stadium, the new Yankee Stadium, Barclays Center, Target Field and the Number 7 subway line extension. Most recently, Ms. Sonnenberg worked on the new stadium financing for the San Francisco 49ers, where she created an innovative stadium funding trust structure that enabled public and private revenues to be combined to create a single stronger credit. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Ms. Sonnenberg worked for the City of New York’s Department of Parks & Recreation, where she oversaw large infrastructure projects and was responsible for facilities management. Ms. Sonnenberg’s facilities included 64 swimming pools, 6 ice skating rinks, and Yankee and Shea Stadiums. She received a BS in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Ms. Sonnenberg is a Yankees fan.
