Edward B. Droesch is Managing Director in the Municipal Bond Department at Goldman Sachs, a leading global investment banking, securities and investment management firm. Additionally, he serves as Vice Chairman of the Municipal Executive Committee of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA). Droesch has worked at the senior level in major firms throughout the securities industry. He has been Managing Director of Citigroup, where he was also the manager of the Municipal Syndicated Desk. Prior to Citigroup, Droesch was Vice President of Goldman Sachs, trading and underwriting both negotiated and competitive municipal issues. Droesch’s experience also includes serving as Managing Director and Manager of the Municipal Syndicate Desk at Smith Barney, Inc. and as Assistant Vice President of J. J. Kenney & Co. Droesch graduated from Hartwick College in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts in Management. As a student, he played varsity lacrosse and ran cross country.
