William Gibson has broad-range experience in the technical field as both a market visionary and product developer. After spending seven years building his own successful drilling supply company, Gibson sold the assets to Swanson Industries in 1999 and took management of Swanson’s CWS Company. Gibson guided CWS through a five-year expansion, resulting in designation as a full-fluid power design house as a Parker Mobile Technology Center. As a leading provider of capital equipment, CWS today represents Atlas Copco, the finest drilling equipment manufacturer in the world. He has continued his success in founding and developing companies due to his outstanding leadership style which stresses excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement of processes and products. Today he manages the regional sales force and service network for non-coal related customers for CWS, SPC and Morgantown Machine & Hydraulics of West Virginia throughout a six-state region. He also manages Morgantown Machine & Hydraulics of Pennsylvania, overseeing the utilization of resources and interfacing on the management of growth and sales focus. After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 1984, Gibson worked for Morgantown Machine & Hydraulics Company. He earned his MBA with a concentration in finance and management from Southern Illinois University in 1989.
