Anne is a strategic business consultant with extensive background in clinical research, health care administration, technology licensing and management and corporate development. She has contributed her expertise to diverse projects in both for-profit and non-profit settings. She led the launch of Global Health Next, a community of practice dedicated to harnessing the power of medical information, communication technologies and social networking to improve healthcare delivery and its outcomes worldwide. From 2006 - 2008, she served as the interim Chief Executive Officer of Neuronyx, Inc., a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company located in Malvern, PA. Prior to that she directed the technology transfer operation, secured technology in-licensing opportunities and managed the intellectual property portfolio of Avitech Diagnostics, Inc., also in Malvern, PA. She also served as Director of Business Development at the Wistar Institute where she formalized and increased the activities of the department placing Wistar among the top research institutions in the country in terms of royalty revenues earned on out-licensed technologies. She has also held positions at the University of Pennsylvania and at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where she began her career. Anne received a Bachelor of Music degree in piano from The Juilliard School in New York and a Master of Business Administration from Drexel University. An avid chamber musician, she serves on the boards of the Kimmel Center of the Performing Arts, WHYY, Inc., and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She has previously served as an officer of The Melmark Charitable Foundation, an organization providing educational, therapeutic and residential services to the disabled.
