Matt Thomas

Matthew Thomas joined Cornerstone Government Affairs in 2008 while attending law school and in 2010 he became a full-time member of the staff as legislative counsel. As a member of the Baton Rouge team, Matt assists on a diverse group of clients that range from health care to technology. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Matt interned at another government relations firm and has worked on several political campaigns. Matt earned a Juris Doctorate and Diploma in Civil Law from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2010 and was admitted to the Louisiana Bar Association. Matt received a BA in Management from Louisiana State University, where he also minored in Political Science. While at LSU, Matt was President of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and was selected to Leadership LSU, one of twenty-five senior leaders.
