William S Spears

William S. Spears is a visionary entrepreneur and civic leader. Born in Lubbock, Texas, he graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in marketing. He earned an MBA. at the Wharton School of Business and a Ph.D. at Wayne Huizenga Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Spears founded Energy Education in 1986. More than a quarter century later, Cenergistic, as the company was renamed in 2012, has helped more than 1,380+ organizations save more than $4 billion. Dr. Spears, who believes deeply in the power of education, has been a generous benefactor to Oklahoma State University, where the William S. Spears School of Business was named in his honor in 2004.
