Alice Shure has worked in feature film for over 20 years. In 1993, she formed Shurefire Productions for the purpose of producing documentary films about artists. Her first documentary, In Search Of Clarity: The Architecture Of Gwathmey Siegel, premiered at the 1995 Spring Benefit for the Checkerboard Film Foundation and was later screened at the Edinburgh Film Festival, other festivals throughout the world, and on cable television. Ross Bleckner: Remember Me debuted in New York at Checkerboard's Spring 2000 Benefit and was screened at Guild Hall in East Hampton, as well as film festivals throughout the United States. Prior to Shurefire Productions, Alice was associated with Charles Evans Productions, Jaffe Lansing Productions and Paramount Pictures.
