Pamela J. Pure is Executive Vice President and President, McKesson Technology Solutions. Pure is responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s information and automation solutions for hospitals, physician offices and home health care. Pure joined McKesson in March 2001 as Group President, Product Development and Support. Pure has more than 20 years of operating and executive experience in the health care information technology industry. Prior to joining McKesson, Pure was the Chief Operating Officer for the Channel Health subsidiary of IDX Systems. Previously, she held a series of management, Product Development and Marketing positions at Shared Medical Systems, now a division of Siemens. Pure holds a bachelor's degree in health administration from the University of North Carolina.
