Decades ago, while struggling with substance abuse, Jim Previti Jr. was a homeless man with a drug conviction.Battling addiction for more than a decade, he spent nearly two years homeless, sleeping in abandoned homes, businesses or in vehicles. He was shuffled between jail facilities before he reclaimed his life. A veteran of the homebuilding industry and a second-generation homebuilder, Previti founded Frontier Homes in 2002 and established Frontier Enterprises in 2009. The Rancho Cucamonga-based Frontier Enterprises was started by Previti as a way to restore communities across Southern California by purchasing vacant and foreclosed properties, restoring them for families and first-time buyers.
