Gary Voellger is a Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President based at the firm’s St. Louis office. He leads Booz Allen’s work for the Air Force Network Integration Center (AFNIC), the Air Force’s Air Mobility Command (AMC), the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)–CONUS, and the Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) at Scott Air Force Base. In addition, he supports the firm’s efforts to enhance the effectiveness of global mobility for US Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) and its components. Finally, he provides support to the firm’s staff engaged at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency-West (NGA-W) in the St. Louis region. Mr. Voellger is a defense operations subject matter expert in the following areas: Virtually all aspects of military aviation Strategic business and military planning Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) support to operational commanders At the Air Mobility Command, his staff is engaged with the Air, Space, & Information Operations Directorate; the Strategic Plans, Requirements & Programs Directorate; the Communications Directorate, and the Installations & Mission Support Directorate. In addition, Mr. Voellger’s staff is engagerd in multiple Air Force Network Integration Center (AFNIC) programs (biometrics, cryptographic modernization, Internet Protocol version 6.0, airborne networking, C4ISR architectures, Active Directory Exchange and the AFNIC organizational transformation.) Mr. Voellger has been heavily engaged in envisioning and implementing the Air Force’s Electronic Information Management (EIM) and AF Cyber programs. He was the lead facilitator for the Headquarters Air Force Directorate of Warfighter Integration off-site that developed the construct for establishing the organization. He has served as the air mobility advisor for the US Army Training and Document Command (TRADOC) and the Unit of Action Maneuver Battle Lab (UAMBL) Senior Advisory Groups. He was also the lead facilitator for the joint NORTHCOM-OSD Health Affairs Medical Consequence Management Conference at the National Defense University. He has more than twenty years of senior executive management experience in a broad spectrum of responsibilities that has included: Operational/strategic planning Budgeting Large complex infrastructure operations Major construction oversight Systems acquisition and Information Technology phase-in Prior to joining Booz Allen, Mr. Voellger served as a Major General in the United States Air Force. As such, he commanded four flying Wings, and he was a Deputy Assistant for Joint and National Security Council (NSC) Matters on the Air Staff. He has also served as a personnel officer and a navigator and pilot of fighter, trainer, Command Control Intelligence Surveillance and Recconnaissance, C2ISR, and mobility aircraft. Mr. Voellger received a Bachelor of Science from San Jose State University and a Master of Arts from Pepperdine University. He is a Distinguished Graduate of the Air Command and Staff College and a graduate of Air War College and the Harvard University Senior Managers in Government Seminar. He currently holds a Top Secret clearance. Mr. Voellger is an active member of the Madison County Rebuilding Together Board of Directors.
