Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President Scott Gooch, based in the firm’s Crystal Square, Virginia, office, is responsible for driving the Firm’s analytics capabilities into the Joint Combatant Command component of the Defense market. Prior to this role, Mr. Gooch was a leader in the firm’s Navy/Marine Corps market providing analytics services such as modeling, simulation, and wargaming; portfolio decision services; cost restructuring; and operations research. In his ten years at Booz Allen, he has supported the US Navy, US Marine Corps, Joint Staff, the Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO), US Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM), the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence (USDI), and the National Security Agency (NSA). Mr. Gooch served for nine years as a Navigator of the US Navy’s Carrier Airborne Early Warning aircraft, the E-2C Hawkeye. After leaving the Navy, he worked at Bearing Point supporting the NSA. Mr. Gooch has a B.S. degree in computer science from the US Naval Academy and earned an M.B.A. from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
