Sandra E Peterson

Peterson is in her current position since 2019. Previously, she was group worldwide chairman and led the consumer and medical devices businesses at Johnson & Johnson. She has held numerous leadership positions including as CEO of Bayer CropScience AG, CEO of Bayer Medical Care and president of Bayer HealthCare AG's diabetes care division. She is currently a member of the board of Microsoft and is on the board of trustees of the Institute for Advanced Study and the American Academy in Berlin. Sandra E. Peterson has served as a director of D&B since September 2002. Ms. Peterson has served as executive vice president, Bayer HealthCare LLC and president, Bayer Diabetes Care, a researcher, developer, manufacturer and marketer of products for diabetes disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment, since May 2005. Ms. Peterson previously served as group president of government for Medco Health Solutions, Inc. (formerly Merck-Medco) from September 2003 until February 2004, senior vice president of Medco's health businesses from April 2001 through August 2003 and senior vice president of marketing for Merck-Medco Managed Care LLC from January 1999 to March 2001. Ms. Peterson holds an M.P.A. in applied economics from Princeton University and a B.A. in government from the Cornell University.
