Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President, Ralph Wade, is a leader in the firm’s Mission Engineering capability, focusing on client needs in the DoD C4ISR arena. Prior to joining Booz Allen in 2012, Mr. Wade was Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President of National Capital Region for Spectrum, a veteran-owned small business focusing on service solutions for Air Force intelligence, command and control, and cyber customers. He served as Vice President and General Manager for General Dynamics Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Division where he led projects for the US National Reconnaissance Office, National Security Agency, Departments of Homeland Security and Defense, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and International customers. At BAE Systems, he served as Vice President of C4I Enterprise Systems focusing on Navy C4ISR and network consolidation programs. Mr. Wade transitioned to industry after a 22-year career in the Air Force, where he served as Director of Reconnaissance Infrastructure in the Office of the Secretary of Defense’s Defense Airborne Reconnaissance Office; as reconnaissance program element officer on the Air Staff; and acquisition program manager for the U-2 aircraft, reconnaissance sensors, and ground systems at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. He began his Air Force career as an intelligence officer with assignments as an intelligence analyst in Kadena, Japan, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and the National Photographic Interpretation Center. Mr. Wade earned a BA degree in history from California State University, and an MA degree in national security studies (government) from Georgetown University.
