Kevin Cook, a Booz Allen Hamilton Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller, based in Dulles, VA, is responsible for the firm’s financial statements and related financial operations. In this role, he also has primary responsibility for the relationship with the firm’s external auditors, and all reporting for the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. Mr. Cook joined Booz Allen Hamilton in 1986 as Manager, Project Cost Accounting. He left the firm in 1996 to take on the role of Senior Vice President, Client Development for what is now JAMIS Software. Mr. Cook returned to Booz Allen in the spring of 2003 as Director, Financial Reporting Systems. In that role, Mr. Cook drew on both his financial and systems background, creating several new functions for the firm, all successfully launched and that continue to provide value to the firm, including: Infrastructure Business Partnering Program Management Office Shared Service Operations (i.e., Core Services), which consolidated many of the firm’s transaction services into one integrated organization that provides services for the firm’s 25,000+ employees. In April of 2008, Mr. Cook was selected as the Corporate Controller for the firm. In this role, he developed new corporate finance capabilities, including: Revenue Recognition Tax Treasury SEC reporting Sarbanes-Oxley compliance Corporate Forecasting Mr. Cook received his B.S. degree with a concentration in Accounting from Towson University in 1977, and an MBA with a concentration in Management, in 1981 from the University of Baltimore. In 1982, he became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Maryland.
