Kristine Martin Anderson, a Booz Allen Hamilton Senior Vice President, is a leader in the firm’s civil health business. She leads Booz Allen’s health reform (ACA) and HITECH implementation work. She is recognized as a thought leader for her expertise in: Health information technology (HIT) HIT-enabled quality measurement and improvement Payment reform Health data exchange and interoperability Prior to joining Booz Allen, she was the Vice President for Operations and Strategy at CareScience, a software solutions company that she helped launch in 1992 and take public in 2000. At CareScience, Ms. Martin Anderson oversaw the launch of several innovative products, including the nation’s first Web-based clinical decision support system for hospitals and the nation’s first health information exchange. Ms. Martin Anderson currently serves on the Quality and Safety Committee of the Board of Directors for the Sisters of Mercy Health System in St. Louis, MO, the Board of Directors for the National eHealth Collaborative, on the Leadership Committee for the eHealth Initiative, and on the Health Information Technology Advisory Committee (HITAC) of the National Quality Forum. Ms. Martin Anderson is a frequent speaker and has authored several published articles. She holds a B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A from The Wharton School of Business.
