Lawrence A Hilsheimer

Lawrence A. Hilsheimer, also known as Larry, serves as an Executive Vice President at Nationwide Life Insurance Company. Mr. Hilsheimer has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Greif, Inc. He served as Regional Managing Partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company from April 1, 2013 to April 17, 2014, and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer until April 17, 2014. He served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Nationwide Retirement Plans for Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company of Nationwide from August 2012 to March 2013. He served as the President of Nationwide Direct & Customer Solutions for Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company since October 2009. Mr. Hilsheimer served as an Executive Vice President of Nationwide Financial Services, Inc. from October 2007 to March 2013. He was responsible for the financial operations of Nationwide, directing the Office of Finance, which includes Treasury, Risk Management, Accounting, Financial Reporting and Taxation. He was a Partner of Deloitte and Touche USA LLP from June 1988 to October 2007 and served as its Senior Manager from June 1986 to June 1988. He joined Nationwide from Deloitte & Touche USA, LLP, where he held numerous positions as a Partner, including Columbus Office Managing Partner, Vice Chairman and Regional Managing Partner. He has been a Non-Executive Director of Installed Building Products, Inc since February 2014. Mr. Hilsheimer serves as a Director of NWM Merger Sub, Inc. He served as a Director of Nationwide Financial Services, Inc., from January 2009 to December 4, 2009 and Nationwide Life Insurance Company until November 5, 2009. He served as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Deloitte Foundation. He maintains the community as the Board Treasurer of Nationwide Children's Hospital and Board Treasurer of the Battelle for Kids and Compete Columbus. He sits on the Dean's Advisory Council at the Fisher School of Business, and is a Board member for The Ohio State University Alumni Association. Mr. Hilsheimer a graduate of the Fisher School of Business at The Ohio State University with Bachelor's degree in Accounting and also has a Law degree from Capital University Law School.
