Martin L Holton III

Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Reynolds American Inc., and subsidiary RAI Services Company and Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Subsidiary R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. Mark Holton graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1979 and earned a law degree from UNC in 1982. He began his legal career in 1982 as an Associate at Ford and Harrison in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1984, Mark joined Womble Carlyle Sandridge and Rice, PLLC as an Associate and became partner there in 1990. In March of 2002, Holton joined R.J. Reynolds as a Vice President and Deputy General Counsel and has since served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of R.J. Reynolds and RAI Services. Mr. Holton has served on the board of directors of RAI Services Company since January 2011 and also serves on the board of managers for YMCA Camp Hanes.
