Leanne Bell has over 25 years of private equity and project finance experience and has spent her entire career in the power space. She was previously a member of Lehman Brothers' infrastructure private equity team, based in New York. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Ms. Bell headed an initiative at GE Energy Financial Services targeting utilities and independent power companies for investment and operational improvement. Prior to heading this initiative, Ms. Bell was the head of the GE Energy Financial Services' Power Team, a position she had held since 1997. In that role she focused on identifying and acquiring power generation and electric transmission assets. Under her management, the team sourced and executed equity and equity related investments and was among the first to invest in power assets in deregulated markets. Prior to joining GE, Ms. Bell led the Finance Group at Duke/Louis Dreyfus and was a work-out specialist and investment originator with Prudential Power Funding Associates. She started her career as a member of the Utility Group in the Corporate Finance Department of Salomon Brothers, moving to Liability Management to cover utilities in 1984. Ms. Bell holds an A.B. in Economics from Smith College.
