Prior to founding FEEEDS/FE3DS, she served as a senior career U.S. Diplomat and the U.S. Ambassador to several countries (Nigeria and Republic of Congo), U.S. Permanent Representative to the West African Regional Organization ECOWAS, and as Africa Director at the National Security Council at the White House. As an academic while serving in the U.S. Diplomatic Service, Dr. Sanders was the International Affairs Advisor and Deputy Commander of the Eisenhower Resource College of the U.S. military's premier National Defense University. . Her business expertise is in, aviation security, affordable housing, ICT, Africa media, Small-Medium Enterprises, power and oil sector reforms. Dr. Sanders serves on U.S. Trade Representative Africa Advisory Committee; former Chairwoman of U.S. EXIM Africa Committee; and is a member of the prestigious Academy of Diplomacy of former senior U.S. Government officials and Ambassadors. Ambassador Sanders holds a Doctor of Science Degree in Information Science and Communication from Robert Morris University, Masters of Art degree in International Relations and Africa Studies, and a Masters of Science degree in Communications and Journalism from Ohio University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Hampton University.
