Joseph V Shields Jr

J.V. Shields, Jr. has been chairman of the board of directors and chief executive officer of Shields & Company, a New York diversified financial services company and member of the New York Stock Exchange, Inc., since 1982. Mr. Shields also is the chairman of the board of directors and chief executive officer of Capital Management Associates, Inc., a registered investment advisor, and the chairman of the board of trustees of The BBH Funds, the Brown Brothers Harriman mutual funds group. He has served as a director of Flowers Foods since March 2001, and he previously served as a director of Flowers Industries, Inc. from March 1989 until March 2001.
