Peter J Schoomaker

General Peter J. Schoomaker (USA Ret.) has been a director since November 2007. He is an individual consultant on defense matters. He served as Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army from 2003 until his second retirement in 2007 and as Commander in Chief, U.S. Special Operations Command from 1997 to 2000, when he retired from the U.S. Army for the first time. He was the president of Quiet Pros, Inc. (defense consulting) from 2000 to 2003. General Schoomaker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Wyoming and a Master's degree in Management and Supervision from Central Michigan University. He is a member of the boards of several non-profit and private companies.
