Christopher O Ryals

Christopher O. Ryals, Managing Director, joined NGP Capital Resources Company in 2005. Mr. Ryals is an investment team leader responsible for investment origination, evaluation, structuring, deal execution and client management. Mr. Ryals serves on the Board of Directors of one of our portfolio companies, Alden Resources, LLC. Mr. Ryals has more than 12 years experience in private equity, business development, corporate finance, and investment banking in the energy industry. Prior to NGP Capital, Mr. Ryals served as Director of Finance for Trico Marine Services, where he assisted with Trico’s reorganization. Prior to Trico Marine Services, Mr. Ryals was an Associate at Aquilex, a First Reserve leveraged buyout platform targeting acquisitions in the energy and power services sectors. Mr. Ryals began his career as an analyst in Deutsche Bank’s Global Energy Investment Banking Group. Mr. Ryals received a B.S., cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.
