Leonardo M. Rapadas graduated from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He returned to Guam and worked at the University of Guam, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Rapadas returned to Oregon to study law, and graduated in 1989 from Willamette University College of Law. He returned home where he started working at the Attorney General’s Office, Prosecution Division, as an Assistant Attorney General (AAG). In late May 2003, Rapadas was sworn into office as the United States Attorney for the Districts of Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands. He served as a U.S. Attorney from January 2003 to June 2010. On November 2010, Rapadas was elected to the Office of Attorney General by the People of Guam and was sworn in on January 3, 2011.
