Carl B Cook

Elder Carl B. Cook was sustained a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 2, 2011, at age 53. At the time of his call, he had been serving as a member of the Fifth Quorum of the Seventy in the Utah North Area. Elder Cook received a bachelor of arts degree in business marketing from the Weber State College in 1981 and an MBA from Utah State University in 1982. In 1982 he began his career with the Xerox Corporation and then in 1985 became a partner with The Boyer Company working in commercial real estate development. Carl Bert Cook was born in Ogden, Utah, on October 15, 1957. He married Lynette Hansen in December 1979. They are the parents of five children. Elder Cook is currently serving in the Area Presidency for the Africa Southeast Area.
