Prior to joining Promontory, Rosemary served in several positions over her 19-year tenure at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, Canada's largest among plans representing one professional group. During her time at the plan, she held progressively more-senior positions, most recently as the Vice President of Asset Mix and Risk, where she led a strategic initiative on capital allocation. She also served on the plan's Enterprise Risk Management Committee, and as the plan's Vice President of Venture Capital, an investment program she initiated, leading her to assume directorships of a number of venture- and private-equity-backed companies in various industries including information technology and communications, health care and life sciences, and renewable energy. Rosemary began her tenure at Ontario Teachers' as Controller, where she was responsible for building the financial reporting, investment accounting, and operations departments. This included developing and implementing IT systems and performance measurement, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Rosemary also was Assistant Vice President at J.P. Morgan Bank (Canada), where she was responsible for financial analysis and reporting, and as a Senior Auditor with KPMG.
