Prior to joining Promontory, Marc-Antoine worked for more than a decade with the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry (commonly referred to as the Ministry of Finance), covering a wide range of financial services. For four years, he served as New York representative of the French Treasury and Financial Attaché to the French Embassy in the United States, acting as a liaison among U.S. regulators, the banking and securities industries, and the French Treasury. His area of expertise covers transatlantic issues facing large banking organizations, including organization and registration, capital and liquidity, corporate governance, over-the-counter products, and market infrastructures regulation. Marc-Antoine was deeply involved in the G20/Financial Stability Board discussions regarding the Basel III framework, compensation practices and bank-resolution regimes. He has also served as economic and fiscal adviser to the Finance Minister, advising on fiscal planning and banking innovations, and as Division Deputy for both macroeconomic policy and fiscal policy at the French Treasury.
