A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mr. Floyd received a B.A. degree in Economics/Business Administration from Lincoln University in 1969, an M.B.A. degree in Finance from Temple University in 1973, and a J.D. degree in Law from Villanova University in 1973. After joining Hercules in 1973 in the Legal Department, corporate headquarters, Wilmington, Delaware, Mr. Floyd progressed through that Department. In 1987, he was named Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Aqualon, a Hercules joint-venture affiliate. In 1992, he was named Vice President and General Counsel, Hercules Food & Functional Products Company, Hercules Incorporated. Later in 1992 he was named Corporate Secretary and Assistant General Counsel, and in 1999 Mr. Floyd was named Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel. In March 2000 he was named Executive Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel. He assumed his current position in June 2001.
